  We drove almost two hours to visit this mobile home dealer. We spoke to them on the phone and were pleased when they told us they had quite a few models on the lot to look at. We were just window shopping for a future purchase ( buying in a different state, just wanted to get the feel of the options available ). We explained this to the individual we spoke with. When we finally got to the place, we weren’t impressed with the inventory. Most of them were the same layout and quite a few were run down and used. Whatever, that’s fine. However, when we asked if there were any other dealers around, she stated over the phone, “You want me to give you our competitions addresses?” Now I can understand to an extent however we specifically stated we were not looking to buy at the moment. Furthermore, I believe if you believe in your customer service and product it doesn’t matter what your competitors are doing. When we were leaving I asked her again if there was anywhere else in the near area and she stated there was not. After a 5 second google search there was one 1.2 miles down the road. It left a nasty taste in my mouth for their professionalism. If I was in fact buying sooner rather than later they would have lost a customer in that exact moment.
